Description
The Dochart Paddle is great for cruising on Rivers and Lochs. The short blade length means it excels in shallower water, and the laminate construction is durable and robust. The wooden construction allows the paddle to flex, which allows for less impact on your arms and shoulders over longer journeys.
This paddle is a perfectly functioning paddle, the only defect is the joint in the shaft, which required tidying up. This is purely cosmetic and doesn’t effect the performance in any way, please see the photos, or get in touch for any more information.
The paddle has a poplar shaft and douglas fir, walnut and ash blade, and it has been coated with varnish for a robust finish. Due to the poplar shaft the paddle is very light, so would suit a smaller paddler.
